despite their very promising start for the tri-nations, the all blacks fell spectacularly during sat's match against australia. thanks to many handling errors, lack of leadership and a very strong aussie side. i'm still a bit peeved about the loss, likewise when i missed the match between the spring boks and all blacks. they don't seem to be doing as well as they did last year at the tri-nations. could it be that with the older (better?) players moving on to other clubs or retiring, the skills of the all blacks as a team have deproved? or could it be that the newer players are just not up to par? perhaps they are experiencing a drought of new good players?
kinda agree with ma ge ge that the current all blacks team does suck (a bit). i miss the old team. carlos spencer, tana umaga... heck! even jerry colins! mccaw better get his ass back into the game man! needless to say.. dan carter is still as good as ever (yes i'm bias.. pish posh)
whatever the case, i just hope they snap out of whatever funk they are in! and really step up to being a world class team instead of a team with world class players.
